“This site may harm your computer.” From Error to T-shirt

I have been a quest to get things read in my Google reader – I follow alot of websites about t-shirts, the internets and all things Pittsburgh (of course I have been busy researching all things Super Bowl). I noticed this post on Mashable this morning but I didn’t think too much of it. It turns out that for about 20 minutes this morning Google listed every site on the internet and included the phrase “This site may harm your computer”.

The story has since been picked up by the Washington Post and the Official Google Blog has a post on it too there was a lot of chatter about it on twitter too – #googlemayharm. The problem has been corrected – the internets will not harm your computer! Mashable is reporting that the problem was caused by a human error.

I was just checking to see what people were saying about Spreadshirt on Twitter and found this tweet that had been retweeted a few times linking to a shirt and shop from a European Spreadshirt shop partner about the whole event. I love that there is a t-shirt about this already and I really like how they used the different colors for the fonts. The shirt is available in white and black and there is also a sweatshirt too. I am not sure if they plan to open a Spreadshirt shop for the US or not.
